Update: brought back to life wooo.
also dropbox throwing away its public sharing option broke everything in this thread earlier, so friggin dumb. but now things are fixed and made a new section consisting of couple of snapshot weapons, and surely some more to come.

Years ago i was making bunch of maps which ended up having tons of custom content, the maps naturally stuck in timewarp and left piles of crap to figure out any use for.
Figured why not try post some here then, after tweaking and spending lot of time figuring out how to "credit" the old mishmash of things, would been sorta dumb just throw them away tho.
Also made bunch of new stuff too, some are snaps and rips done in testing sense.

Your obviously free to edit, post-process and mangle this stuff anyway u want and without actual need to ask me permission for it, but ill guess credit me as RNG Breadbag then.

Some needless fragments of info:

-Pretty obvious: The old "doomy" sprites (and some new) have edited stuff out from the classic IPs such as: Doom (duh), ROTT, Hacx, Doom 64, Duke 3D, Blake Stone, Powerslave, Necrodome (maybe) and Dark Forces.
just cant be arsed to list every game and developer on each sprite to avoid awful clutter, atleast yet. unless thats still absolutely necessary but havent really catched up on that for some reason, i can correct later.

-Most of these (if not all) are designed for opengl insted of using color palette

-Some new stuff is still left 24-bit

oh right, posted that pistol in the list and download.
all the stuff on that map has blood hands instead, but this one should be pretty easy to edit.

and lol, would be neat to try some new monster sprites again. most probably next id try to rig some model for dat purpose with curvy 2 if that doesnt turn out being poop at that aspect

Just lemme say how much I absolutely love each and every single one of your weapon sprites I want to rub them all over my face until it becomes numb.

In all seriousness though, I do find their designs pretty intriguing. Don't know if it's just me here, but they give off a certain Classic-Doomish vibe more akin to the designs of the alpha weapons particularly with their beefy contexture and busy saddle parts and so. The silver finish on most of them does a lot too, and those WWII-era SMGS are sexy as heck. Give off a lot of character and really scream this is a Heavy and loud as fuck weapon to me.

Pretty effin' gorgeous.

Any chance you could post the rifle graphics from the third screenshot up top?

As others have said, these are really good. I'd love to see your process for how you go about ripping and cleaning these up!

the thing on left is called Birdfaces, its sum huge canyon map which i ended up doing whole bunch of custom crap in it later on, and then sorta got bored of the thing cus my long time motivation is widely known to be absolutely terrible. actually one of my first maps too if i recall

middle one is Bacillus City, actually tempted to continue that crap. its not a horror map or whatever but instead short shitfest where enemies, trees or even ur guns are alive or atleast biologically inconsistent

thing on the right is some moonbase map wher despite the custom stuff i ran out of ideas after the outside area lol
