Online Zandronum Vision.
Now: Online ZDoom Vision / OZ Vision.

This is the third and last generation of my group of projects that investigate and develop technologies
to create the perfect air combat simulator. Once the tests are finished, the final construction process will begin,
which will have the name of: (Flight Vision Link)
Due to delays, maybe FLV cannot be released this year 2020.

The current project has the following characteristics:
O.Z. Vision: -The following data and properties is updated over time- wrote:
  • (6DoF) movements previously acquired in the "Vanguard Vision" sub-generation.
    thanks very much to dodopod for the new (6DOF Quaternions) system.
  • the old plane (F-15 s / mtd "from ps3 ACE-HORIZON")
    is being replaced by the new one (sukhoi Su-57) with better PBR textures.
    and along with it, I will add new features for the project.
  • Google Earth high definition textures obtained by the application
    (sas planet) the 3D mesh is then exported to the game
    in GZDoom builder with the tool (import .obj)
  • Language recognition for voices audios and game elements.
    They are available: German, English, French, Italian, Spanish.
    But for the moment only the Spanish will be used.
  • Guided missiles and weapons with a multiple Lock-on system.
    And Thank very much to Major Cooke for the permission of code:
    function: (action Actor LockOn { }) From (Doom4D-master.pk3: RocketLauncher.txt)
  • the weapons in the game will be available to all planes in the game.
    instead of each plane being restricted to its own weapons, as in the
    vast majority of combat flight simulators.
  • Thanks to the codes: (-HOST 2 & -JOIN 127.0.0.1) from LZDoom,
    A multiplayer mode is really possible.
  • If at any time I get a (oculus rift VR) visor I will not hesitate
    to make the project compatible with this.
    I'm also designing the controls to be possibly
    compatible with the joysticks / flying sticks (h.o.t.a.s)
  • Almost all the basic and essential elements of air games
    such as (Ace Combat) are included.
    As for example: icons on the screen,
    radar display, wide lock for guided missiles,
    3 camera views, takeoff and landing system.
    and possibly a VTOL transformation controls.
    which is not available in some simulators.

I apologize for saying that I will soon release the latest version of my project. :(
Originally, I wanted to launch OZ VISION on Christmas of the previous year,
then I wanted to launch it in the beginning of February of this year 2020.
But it could not meet those dates, and it is possible that it will continue taking longer.
Currently only minor details remain and I would like to finish them correctly along with all the
new features of the new su-57 aircraft to finally launch a version (beta and alpha) of OZV and update the project it over time.

Note: I speak in Latin Spanish and use (google translate) to communicate. Forgive my strange English.

Rename the title of the thread to "Prepare for Flight" or "Prepare to Fly". Also neat project, I do wonder if you will do something with it outside of novelty.

and again, this is only the first generation, since then follows the generation (EASA)
the technology demonstrator (VANGUARD VISION) and the last game
in which I am now working called (OZ VISION)
of there will be the last generation that will have a campaign with a split screen
and many more things that are being tested in (OZ VISION)

I have to say, when I saw the Redeemer in Doom Tournament I wondered and hoped if a project like this or Airquake would happen, and I'm excited to see how this one goes!

originally, as you can notice in this generation,
I did not plan to add an cockpit in the game.

but to find some inspiration, I dedicate myself to playing professional console games. and among those games was (Janes Advanced Strike Fighters)
I liked that game so much. Thanks to him, I built the system ("BT_STRAFE": HIGH Movement.) since that game has that ability to activate the vectorial thrust. :wub:

but when the generation of (3D_ACE) was ending, look for more details of (JASF). and I realized that a lot of people do not like me at all.
and one of the reasons for his complaints was that he did not have an internal cockpit.
and so as not to fail like (JASF) in the generation (EASA) I was finally able to add that impressive cockpit with a functional (ADI). :D

While it would take a massive ammount of work, I could definitely see this being a full flegedd Ace Combat TC. This is awesome

I am currently improving the whole game with new features and
correcting many of the errors that you will find in this and the next generation.
since I always experience if (gzdoom) could be capable of this.
and that's why I do not focus on creating something really playable.

and even that I always wanted to pay homage to (ace combat)
but I realized that I could create something better than simply limiting myself to their style of play.

Wow, esto es increible! Algun problema si lo edito para hacerlo compatible con Zandronum?

No tenia idea de como hacer aviones, pero te quedo bastante bien y realista.

Solo una correccion, en el titulo, no es "whith" es "with" o creo que te referias a "within"

yo utilice (prepárate para volar con "3D_ACE") en el traductor de (Google) y salio así.
ademas es una referencia a la frase de los anunciadores de (SkullTag) (prepare to f'ight)

(3D_ACE v1 apk) es compatible con (zandronum) y yo no me molestaría si lo modificas el o a las demás versiones a tu gusto.
pero el zandronum no puede usar el angulo (roll) por lo que el movimiento estaría bastante limitado. :wink:

Al parecer whith si es una palabra? Nunca la habia oido asi que por eso intente corregir el titulo, ah bueno no importa.

Bueno, yo se que no hay roll en Zandronum, pero tambien es posible adaptar mejor los controles de la nave para que se conduzca mejor sin roll asi que voy a probar a ver como me sale.
