Brutal Wolfenstein:Projects?What is it?

Brutal Wolfenstein-Projects is a new update that change much the Brutal Wolfenstein's develompment in a way which twist all previous versions.
In few words,Brutal Wolfenstein will be DIVIDE in two differents mods.This decision was take because the new version i was planning took a way a lot far from what the old Brutal Wolfenstein was.See i still making updates for the old build,i decided this division.Let's reveil the two projects i'm planning to make.

Classic Redux,previously known as the incoming V5.0,will be a singleplayer expericence that aim to interprate Wolfenstein always in a Brutalish styile,but with a gameplay and a charm more near at the original Wolfenstein 3D,Return to castle Wolfenstein,Wolfenstein:The new order and other fan projects as Castle Totenkompfh,Operation Eisenfaust:origins and in a little-little-little part by Blade of Agony.This mod use as base Ketchup v.5 istead of a brutal doom version,for have a more clean code with work.Let's check quickly the features in a list:


---All the maps of Wolfenstein 3D will be lightly remade by the undersigned and possible helpers in future.These maps will have the same planimetry of old Wolfenstein 3D maps but with feautures allowed by the odiern ID tech 1,as different heights frome each rooms,inclined planes,3D floor,Actor bridges,lights,sliding Poliobjectives and more.
---The arsenal will be more small and less muddler respect Brutal Wolfenstein v4.5.We have the classic Knife,Luger,Mp40(These last two will have the Akimbo ability) and Chaingun,with the addition of grenades,MP44,FG42 and Kar98K.The design and colors of the weapons are unrealistic as in Wolf 3D,for make this sensation of "Retro"
---There will be all the same enemies from Brutal Wolfenstein V4.5,but with revamped death animations,AI,Sprites and more.Plus,new enemies will coming as the return of original Fake Hitlers.
---Challenging gameplay,with studied placement of the enemies,few ammos and a new skill,"Hitler's revenge"(From Laz Rojas Wolfendoom).In this skill,all the medikits are removed from the map with the exemption of an huge medikit at the final room with the elevator.
---Cinematics scenes planned,wich will narrate the original story of Wolfenstein 3D.
---Dinamic scenario,with breakable items and useful for kill enemies.....or end your life.

This first project is still under huge work,so no alpha or demo is still aviable.This mean that the "Credits" and "Changelog" spoiler for it will come at the first release.

Project BulletStorm is based on the v4.5 version(the actual released)and will have updates using always the old base of Brutal Doom v18.This version is more aimed to an hilarious singleplayer and cooperative gamemodes, with a Blazcowictz with an huge d....ehm :roll: , arsenal,kicks and taunts.

---Based on Laz Rojas remake maps of "Original missions","Nocturnal missions" and "Spear of Destiny" and will have a little sub-version that can be played with EVERY MAP YOU WANT and with new enemies **
---Revamped sprites and sounds for enemies,objects and weapons.
---As the name say,this version will include a shitload of weapons,which are:
Slot 1:Knife and Axe
Slot 2:Luger,M1911,Walther and Magnum
Slot 3:MP40,Thompson,PPSH-41,Sten
Slot 4:Shotgun,MG42,STG44,B.A.R,Fg42
Slot 5:M1 Garand,Mosing Nagant,Kar98K,Enfield
Slot 6:PanzerShreck,Panzerfaust
Slot 7:Flamethrower

The first alpha of this version can be download here.Basiclay is v4.5 with enchanged sprites and sounds,the add of the B.A.R. weapon and compatibility with zandronum 3.0 and Cooperative game mode tested.

I'll take a look at this later. By the looks of it, it seems you are trying to improve your mod atleast. ((Even though I'm not a huge fan of "Brutal Mods" personally, but still it's nice to see that you are accepting criticism unlike some other users I've seen.))

Although I need to note some things based on the screenshots and from the last version I played...

-Be sure to fix up the rather sloppy Nazi "Death Animations" (Curb Stomp/Fatalities)

-The Brutal Doom Nazis honestly seem... out of place when you compare them to the SS. I could try recommending some other sprites like the Lost Missions one I guess.

-This is VERY Important: Credit each individual person who made/ripped the resources. Don't just say what mods you took it from and call it a day.

-I honestly think you should keep Dr. Schabbs and Gretel Grosse the same as their original source appearances. I get you might be wanting to try something "Interesting" for them but... They aren't really that good.

-((Rather Personal but still)) Please remove that Dumb Creeper Girl thing... Wasn't the map based on Pac-Man originally anyway? Please put back the ghost, they made much more sense and they honestly weren't facepalm worthy.

Is yet on my program to remove Cupa the Creeper and Replace the Pac-Man level with a new level.For the rest you are right,i must create a better credits and that I should ask their authors if I can use them or change them, but know that I asked permission to Sgt_Mark_Iv and other people to use their stuff before get my hands in his work.The boss i would love to redo from scratch because I did not like the style that they have in Wolfenstein 3D(In wolfenstein 3d i only don't like boss look,the other is amazing!), then I still have to add to them the dismemberment and a better look.
Unlike the 3.0 I'm trying to pay more attention to my work and do not rush to publish a mod made in half. I put this beta like test to know what things annoy as sprites made bad or bugs to fix..I'm sorry very much for my horrible English.

Its time for another terminus stream, but it does look like you have done a lot more work on this than that versoin. Also, work to optimize your blood effects it cuases much lag.

other than some weird sprites this is a MASSIVE improvement from the last one the new weapons look and feel nice (reload for the luger is odd and stg has weird looking hand in iron sights)
The music is a nice touch too.

Well,in my computer the blood don't lag friend.This required a better video card or a better processor.

I thought this was a gorier version of Wolf, but it doesn't really look much like Wolf, I thought you'd use that AFADoomer's mod as a base.

He is, kind of. An ancient, bastardized version that someone hacked apart to work with Skulltag. I'm not sure why he hasn't pulled from the last version, if only for the resources.

He still hasn't acknowledged me by name, of course.
