Hello, I'm BigProjectAlone.
I am the creator of Mortila

MAY BE BETTER PLAYING WITH GZDOOM 3.2 ONLY. It have not been tested with other release of Gzdoom.

I can tell you that there is a lot! of changes and new stuff/areas.. secrets.. this is a huge step forward in the developement of Mortila.


This was suposed to be released later on but with my work i will not have time to edit it for months so i do prefer to release it now.

don'T know .. i want to make a longue game so.. maybe 10 chapter. i want over 100 maps and many many quest.
if you did not see, i've made an update, i write the chapter 2 :D take a look at it

Well here's a couple of ideas I got:
If there's mp3s or something, try making it seperate from the wad itself (like soulcrusher did).
Another idea is to convert all wav sounds into ogg files, ogg files tend to be much smaller than wav files, audacity should do the trick.

This looks very interesting by the way, also makes me want to get back to my "forevermore" wad. =P

but i dont know how to make it seperate from the wad ?
can you explain me how or something ?

Simple: Create a new empty wad, then copy all the music from mortila and paste it all in the new empty wad.
Then save the new wad something like mortilamusic.wad, finally delete the music from mortila.

BTW: I think if we were to continue this discussion, that we should do it through PMs. =P

ok but now when i start my wad, that said they can't find the music

UPDATE:
new script on the begining of the game that makes a peasant saying you hello and welcome to mortila.

And

all is smaller now, all sound is in .OGG and i've makes 5 files.

Mortila.wad
MortilaMAPS.wad
MortilaMusicsandSounds.wad
MortilaPNGS.wad
MortilaSprites.wad

the bigger's file is Musics and sounds that is 230mo, if you have any idea to make it smaller...
