Happy Christmas Surprise! <Zharky-AWESOME-Schism>

Postby Xaser » Tue Dec 25, 2007 8:57 pm

Well, it's that time of year again. Sure, Christmas is about a lot more than the presents, but in all fairness, I *have* been gone a while. It's good to see everyone again, hehe, but it wouldn't be right for me to show up empty handed. I currently have three gifts for the general public to enjoy. No, they are NOT 'Christmas Fools' jokes (Cutman, wink wink).

...

--("Zharkov Goes to the Store")-- .Zany ZDoom Weapon Modification
So, it's been years since any release from me, end even more than that since my last weapon mod. Just to spice things up for the holidays in a wacky fashion, I've created a little something I just couldn't not share. "Zharkov Goes to the Store"... yeah, a weirdo title for a weirdo mod. Rain plasmatic death on enemies, beat 'em up wtih reality-bending kung-fu techniques, and send walls of missiles crashing towards your unsuspecting opponent. ;P
It's technically still in beta form, but an /idgames release will ensue once it's deemed complete. Comments, mate!

...

--("AWESOME" trilogy - Release)-- .The most AMAZING music this side of the universe.
Ehehe, it took far too long, but I finally wrapped up AMUSING and finally present to you the full trilogy complete with the epic final installment. Features hits such as "Fish in a Blender", "Sand in your Eye", and "Hell on a Stick" while introducing new favorites like "Dude, you're Getting a Dell!", "Woof, I'm a Cow!", and "Nuclear Sandwich". A must-have for anyone whose music tastes are a little "off-kilter". ;P

...

--("Schism")-- .Mindbending Platformer Modification for Cave Story -(DEMO 0.51)-
Say WHAT? What is this? Hehe, in case any of you have been wondering what I've been doing the last few months, take a look at this. Based on the Cave Story engine, this 'gamod'* puts you in the shoes of one poor soul trapped in the middle of a cosmic conflict for the ages. See the official forum thread at http://www.miraigamer.net for more info, or just smack the link above to nab the demo version. If you're a fan of Cave Story (and if you're not, for shame!), check this puppy out.

...

--(EXTRA)--

MasterOFDeath and I made this completely out of random. Beware the thrash.
Now available on YTMND because I am insane.

...

Merry Christmas again to all you guys! Enjoy and the like. :P

You need a decent whack of ceiling room to use that one.

Xaser: Dude, you're getting a DELL == winrar. Also, I hear your voice has broken since the last round of songs :P

EDIT: Oh, that was MoD in DYGAD. Ah well, never mind then. :P

EDIT 2: As for "Eat at Joe's" inspiration, then yes, I think you're right on the name.

Also, notice how the bassist is front and center, the microphone is plugged into the same amp as the bass, and the keyboard has no amp whatsoever. Ah, gotta love garage bands. XD

Ehehe, the alt-fire gets me laughing every bloody time. :P
Oh, by the way, has anyone messed with all the powered-up weapons with the new Demonsphere item? Yeah, yeah, Tome whatever. It's fun anyway, though. :P

I think things are unbalanced like crazy... I'd probably better lower the amount of missiles or something, 'cause the ChimneySweep keeps kicking everyone's arse. :P

You got me hooked on Cave Story now. Also those weapons are awesome as hell.

But I'll eventually finish up a late surprise, hopefully, if I can only get this shiz working.

I tried giving your Awesome trilogy a listen.

I'm sorry, just listening to the first few songs gave me a major headache and I almost felt like jumping off a window... @_@

The coding is beautiful, but I can't say the same about its sprite.

He rips off his left hand and throws his right one. Scary. O-o

Also: A bit off-topic, but is Turbocharged arcade being worked on anymore?
