[PATCH] Show time in-game (AltHUD, not on automap)

Postby _mental_ » Fri Jan 25, 2013 11:01 am

I have implemented in-game time for alternative HUD. Placed in upper right corner of the screen it has a few options to customize.
You can select from level, hub, total and system time to display, with and without seconds. Level time can be also shown with milliseconds (speed-running gods, where are you? :D ) Text color can be specified. All settings can be changed in corresponding menu. Here is a collage with it and with different time and color settings

Whole screen in game looks like this

If you think this feature is useful you can find a patch in the attachment. Any constructive feedback is appreciated.

Excellent, it shows the time as well? Now if only ZDoom had backwards compatibility but then again there are other ports for that.

If ZDoom had backward demo compatibility, it wouldn't have ACS, DECORATE, a garbage collector, slope physics, and just about everything else that distinguish ZDoom from PrBoom+.

Oh man, I remember how the system time was asked for so many times in the past... it's finally in! :O

(well, almost)
