I like the concept of tonemapping but was never happy with the overbrightening or darkening and the way the gamma controls changed the statusbar and menus. So World Gamma provides lightness controls before those or even before bloom if you select 'Boost Bloom'.
Realising the bloom boosting potential I made a second shader that does only that but can be made to go over the top. However mixing Bloom Boost with any tonemapping is pretty unuseable.
