New Community Project: "Knee Deep in ZDoom"
Once more, it's time for the ZDoom community to work together on a brand new project, following in the footsteps of the great successes of the "ZDoom Community Map" and the upcoming "ZDoom Community Map Project Take 2".
What would Episode 1 have looked like if id Software had had the advantages of ZDoom and all many features? With particle effects, many more enemies, and new structural effects like skyboxes and slopes? With 3D-effects and silent teleporters? This time our goal is to enhance the old and boring "Episode 1" maps with new rooms, details, effects, and many other interesting things.
Don't miss this chance to participate in one of the greatest ZDoom mods ever, created by the ZDoom community itself! Visit the forum topic now and sign up.

With all my due respect, this is one of the most insulting and silliest things I ever heard.Tormentor667 wrote:enhance the old and boring "Episode 1" maps

Agreed. Ep1 still stands out as one of the most efficient mapping styles ever. Despite their simlicity there's one thing these maps are not: boring! (even though they are far too easy)

@Lexus - This is NOT funny :):)
@Everyone talking about the Boredom/Oldie-Issue: Well, without any doubt, they are OLD, no one can deny this. And in my eyes - I have played these mapes about a 100 times - they are boring, because we all know where the secrets lies, we all know what happens and we all know what to do. Nevertheless, if you don't like this statement, forget it and participate though
