Re: New Picard trailer just dropped

Okay, so i feel this is needlessly personal and aggressive. However big a fan you are, Enjay is allowed to have an optimistic outlook just as you're allowed to have a pessimistic one. His quoteback was an (accurate IMO) summary for sake of space, not a dismissal or attack. Also note that if you act ...

Re: New Picard trailer just dropped

Yeah, Enjay, you undoubtedly are less invested in Star Trek than me. And as such you won't understand where I'm coming from. What you call pessimism I call experience. I want so badly to be proven wrong, but I know I won't be. I'm sick of being dismissed as the angry fanboy who's stuck in the past ...

They've signed on Alex Kurtzman as one of the 8 (!) executive producers for the show -- Kurtzman, who co-wrote the script to Star Trek: Into Darkness. That showed me that he doesn't understand or care what ...

Re: EU Parliament Passes Articles 11/13

That's the gist of what Jim was saying in the video. More focus on the absurdity of 7.3 million units being a "disappointment" to a company, though. Barefaced, voracious greed is back in style.

You might as well sharpen a piece of railroad track for the weight that sword would have.

Re: The Still New What Did You Last Do Thread

I guarantee you at least 75% of the internet-capable population of the Earth has come to the same conclusions about their past selves that you have about yours. It's a natural consequence of maturation.

Re: The Still New What Did You Last Do Thread

I have to admit I'm about as speechless as Mr. Crockett after seeing that. It's not often you get to see such a swift and effective response to abject ignorance like that on national television.

Re: The Still New What Did You Last Do Thread

This is something I never imagined would take place: Lindybeige, a Youtuber I follow who mostly waxes eloquent with British charm on history and dancing, interviewing Sandy Petersen (yes, that one) for some reason.
