I'm seeing what I can do with this engine, see if anything can eventually come from it, but I don't know how to compile the program into a runnable EXE. Could anyone help me out with that?

To be absolutely, totally clear on this - The Gloome engine could be used to develop a brand new game that you could sell, correct? Or am I wrong, and games made on this engine can only be distributed for free?

This mod is great, I just finished a playthrough of Hexen as the Cleric with it. Are there any plans that you'd add a Doomguy class, though? I think it would be great fun to play Hexen or Heretic as him, since you can play Doom (at least the maps) with the Hexen classes.

I love Smooth Doom. I can barely play without it now. Any plans for Smooth Heretic or Smooth Hexen? Maybe even Smooth Strife? Hexen and Heretic could particularly use the treatment you gave Doom.

I downloaded that new fluidsynth DLL, and I do have a soundfont already. I'll test it in a bit. EDITED: Tested the newest version, for some reason the sound broke after a few sound effects played and it just turned into strange pops and buzzes. No clue what that was about, but it isn't in the ...

Can anyone help me with Fluidsynth?
I have the DLL in GZdoom's folder, I set the path correctly, but it just tells me "could not open midi out device". I can't find much info on how to do this, which leads me to believe I'm doing it right and something just isn't working. What is a midi out device, and how can I make GZDoom open one?

I can't for the life of me find a tutorial on how to make a silent portal in a map. Can anyone help me out? I've looked all over for tutorials online but I haven't found anything.

I really like the demons. the eyeless, mouth-only look reminds me of the monsters from Quake. The rest of the color scheme reminds me of it somewhat too, actually.

I'm trying to edit the music WAD, but I can't figure out what to change so it only selects from 48 tracks instead of the default 250. I've edited everything I can find that would relate to that, but it still tries to switch to music tracks beyond 48 and since I have so much less then the default ...
