By dual, you mean an axe in each hand?

The other frames would simply be a matter of flipping the originals in MSpaint. It may be under the "rotate" feature depending on what version of Windows you're running. I think even Slade has some mirror feature that'd do that.

I've got/can get projectiles, but I was thinking about player view sprites for axes and hammers balanced specifically for throwing. I'm planning on letting Conan chuck the battle axe and war hammer in a later update, but Subotai doesn't get to join in on that fun. Maybe throwing daggers are enough ...

Thanks, y'all. I'll probably do the broad invisible projectile version for the shield proper, but I think I'll do split second invulnerability for parrying (with "critical" parries actually being reflective invulnerability). That way, you can't just hold down the block key while wading through lava ...

A shield for the player would basically be a weapon that rapidly shoots or spawns a bunch of broad, invisible, shootable, and semi-solid objects that deal no damage and disappear pretty quickly, right? I will have to add in (in the long run) a button for Conan to shout "Crom!" that does (probably) nothing, in addition to the Arnie "Gyah!" pain noises. Thanks for the idea.

I'm guessing part of the reason GT et al. aren't letting anyone do anything that'd require them to be lenient with copyright is probably more of a lack of interest than any real plans after Blood II. Going to GT's office with a shotgun, pitchfork, and voodoo doll would at least get their attention ...

It seems to me that the actual bit of "GameInfo, player class" that's provided is not the problem in itself, it's the rest of the Mapinfo lump, which needs to be updated to the new syntax.
