About a year ago I made 5 or 6 posts. Before that, a year before. But yes, as soon as I install a wad editor on my desktop I'll move my doom files there and isolate the Archdemon but he uses so many sprites and actors it'll take some time.

I'll get my Archdemon into a solo wad for this. Trust me, he is a great boss monster. Turns Bruiser's inside out.

Here's a hint. Quick save about 7 seconds in and keep an arrow notched. Fire it when she gets really close. If you are REALLY lucky like I was, fire during the pic sequence and you MIGHT hit her.


In other news summoning Choke is a GREAT prank in coop mode.

Compiling ZDoom in LInux

I thought I would be smart and try to do it myself, but which archives do I need to compile ZDoom in a Linux environment? I can't figure out which files I need :(

I might have missed it, but there appears to be no way to make a track play once and not repeat. This is a handy tool to have

Music player function in console

not sure how hard it is, but something that does like

"playmusic LUMPNAME"
and plays the music file if playable (ogg, spc, mp3, wav, etc)
