Re: Project Brutality Particle Issue
What Enjay said. People can't help you if you aren't clear, specific and acting in good faith. I don't feel any of these are happening here.

add the blockmap flag to it. Otherwise it won't be shootable.

Re: HXDD: A Heretic & Hexen WAD Merger now with MULTIPLAYER & DOOM PWAD MODE, Updated: 8/18/2024 [0.8.3b-Beta]
I'll be direct here: I think you need to stop being so demanding of people to do stuff the way you want it to be. It comes across as self entitled and arrogant. You've done that a lot with various mods and the GZQuake discussions. Lemon King hasn't been here, screaming into the ether isn't going to ...

Re: UZDoom 4.14.3 Pre-release
What error is it giving? What do the logs say? Do you have a link to the mod?
Also I don't think this is the place to be posting bug reports, especially if it's not been narrowed down to the mod or not. Have you tried posting it on the bug tracker?

Re: zdoom.org cannot be accessed by other sites maintainers
I'll say this as politely as I can: I dunno what is going on with zdoom.org's protective measures against spam and such, but given spam occasionally gets through anyway and a sizable amount of people have been having issues getting on here, we need to get to the bottom of what's causing these issues ...

Re: UZDoom 4.14.3 Pre-release
I did read "it" over and over again and I still don't quite get it. Don't be so rude.

Re: UZDoom 4.14.3 Pre-release
Slow down, you triple posted.
People are obviously not having the same problem as you or there'd be more eyes on it.
Also going "it doesn't work" over and over isn't going to make the problem go away. Give them something to work with.

Re: What’s Happening With UZDoom?
I personally dont care if the code is from ChatGPT or a human. When it works good, it works good. I think this topic about ChatGPT gets more drama than it should. 1.) The code he (Graf) used from ChatGPT didn't even work and may have been incompatible with the GPLv3 anyhow. 2.) ChatGPT was only the ...

Re: Texture filtering default discussion
Personally, the problem is a chicken/egg type thing. Where does the buck stop for 'intended experience'. For me, the main part is if you don't know the console exists and the exact value to change, that shortcut is useless. Not everyone even knows the console exists 90% of the time. Plus the menus ...

Re: Texture filtering default discussion
Honestly, and I say this as respectfully to all involved as I can, I think people were fed up with GZDoom to such a degree that this was a sign things were going in a different direction. A very clear and concise statement imo.
I don't think it's any deeper than that, but I could be wrong.

Re: Texture filtering default discussion
Addendum: I do admit some people just meme on texture filtering and the like for the "lulz" (I admit also I was one of those people initially with the GZDoom/UZDoom split... a bit of venting frustration at the time on my part as two of my games depend on upstream fixes). While I am sure a lot of ...
