Re: Game resource extraction/ripping?
With the help of Noesis and this python script plugin that you can install in "[Noesis folder]\plugins\python" folder, you can open most of the VID files from Alien Shooter. It allows viewing all of the frames and exporting all of them into a common image format of your choice. The person's python ...

Re: Ray's Fears (Amiga 1200) Resources thread
Happy to see we're finally getting a proper rip of this game! I'm able to get to the game sounds but unsure of which sample rate is the correct one (11025 Hz was the closest when loading the file "z049" in Audacity as raw [after being decompressed with an ancient format decompressor tool that I ...

Re: AVP2 Textures
I remembered that I had some tools that I used to convert some textures from No One Lives Forever. They worked fine with AVP 2 textures from the look of it. One was a DTX viewer plugin for Noesis but only a few worked fine while the others were distorted or in the wrong resolution. Another that I ...

Re: [REQUEST] Ozymandias81's Resources / Suggestions / Uploa
Some weeks ago, I found online that someone got to extract some resources of the game Normality. I found it out in this thread: http://saltworld.net/forums/topic/12496-unravelling-the-secrets-of-normality-1996/ You can download most of the rips that the person did here . It's not complete I think ...

Re: [Request]Descent 1/2 sprites and textures
I am currently ripping the resources with the tool that CeeJay did suggest. I completed Descent 1 rip, you can download it here: Descent 1 Resources (Edit: Added some missing door textures that the tool messed up a bit, but now it's fixed. I noticed the problem while I was ripping the textures of ...

https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/30737344/KTWeaponsBannerPost.png Well I completed my full rip of the Killing Time PC weapons sprites. I like this one better now since it's ripped right from the game data and it shows all the missing parts that you can't usually catch from a screenshot. You can ...

Re: Ozymandias' Requests
That was my old rip, but I find it bad since they were from screenshots instead of actual rip from the game data.CeeJay wrote:You can find the weapon sprites from Killing Time (PC) here:

Don't think this'll be of any direct use, though

Re: Ozymandias' Requests
I found this page here: http://wiki.ultimacodex.com/wiki/Ultima_IX_Internal_Formats It explains the game data files and at the end, it has a download link to the tools to extract the game data files. Since I don't own the game myself, you may have to try it yourself with the tools. Here's the link ...

Re: Ozymandias' Requests
Last year, I did rip all the textures of Killing Time PC. I did the rip with the help of TiledGGD (a software to view graphics inside unknown file datas). It may be incomplete or have some duplicates since the game data had texture package files for each maps, which sometimes made me confused if I ...

Re: (PS2 ripping question) IRX, BNK, PMD?
PSound can scan your whole ISO file or the game disc if you inserted it in your CD/DVD drive of your computer.
It will scan for the sounds in any kind of files. The tool can sometimes extract the sound files with it's original name of the file.
