The next picture i'll post here will probably be of the finished (UV mapped + textured) result.
I already have a model of two arms ready to be textured and rigged as well, for the first person model.

My headcanon is that there's no one Doomguy, just several likeminded marines who ended up more or less in the same awful situation. It would explain the appearance of player corpse sprites in the original Doom; they're the corpses of all the other Doomguys who tried and failed before you.

Oh you meant to position it properly in the viewport? Well, the positioning in the viewport is achieved by defining offsets for the said model in MODELDEF lump. Well, the centrem of rotation and pitch for a model is the model's 0 coordinate. When mapping in <any modelling program>, try to keep the model in the center of the grid.
