Re: Doom 64 Music WAD?
Are you handy with slade? All you have to do is open your DOOM2.WAD, copy and past all the MUS files into a new WAD then Import the MP3's in place of those files. Or you can just drag and drop your MP3's into the new WAD file and rename them to match the names in the DOOM2.WAD. The only slightly ...

Re: Understanding: THING Type 9990 Bridge Custom
I'm not kidding, I have been testing things I'm working on for Odamex in ZDOOM 1.23 and GzDOOM in order to make sure everything is behaving as it should. ZDOOM 1.3 is handling THING type 9990 perfectly fine.Gez wrote:I very much doubt it. That was added in 2008.Syfo-Dyas wrote:ZDOOM 1.23 had support for such things

Re: Understanding: THING Type 9990 Bridge Custom
Don't regret it, some of it are very lucky that ZDOOM 1.23 had support for such things. It's nothing compared to what Legacy had or what GzDOOM and ZDOOM 2.6.1 have, but compared to the old school method, this is above and beyond! Plus I get even place enemies on them which is an extra boon! Just ...

Understanding: THING Type 9990 Bridge Custom
I am trying to understand THING Type 9990. At first I thought I would have to approach it as such: Floor I am coming from will be a height of 0. Floor I am going to is a height of 0. The chasm in between those floors is -128. So I figured I would need to set the Z Height to 0 to match the height of ...

I agree, fun experiment, isn't that what DOOM editing is supposed to be about anyhow? To hell with logic!

Re: DRD Team File Sharing (Better than Rapidshare!)
I suppose I should ask. Would uploading a WAD with the PSX sound track used to replace the original be considered warez?

Make that Linux and AROS.
AROS isn't in any way Linux related.

Dreams Do Come True: ZDOOM OpenAL and AROS
One of my AROS friends surprised me today... I didn't realize that the OpenAL fork had progressed this far. Likewise, I didn't expect AROS to be able to run it this soon! It's a little rough around the edges, music support isn't presently possible because of streaming issues, but it's coming along ...

Re: Welcome To Monkey Island
I love the title screen! Very good art work that falls in line with the original style! Before there was DOOM, I was a Monkey Island fanatic on my Amiga!
