Well, in the old days games didn't rely much on realism. But now its a new generation of gaming and Doom needs to keep up. Doom needs more realism. :wink:

As we can see, many of Doom's mods are already doing this. :mrgreen:

I would like to see more nazi skins in levels 31 and 32 of Doom 2. And they should have more weapons at their disposal too, instead of just machineguns.

EDIT: I have just tried it again, and I killed him successfully. There is no problem after all. :D

There was nothing wrong with AEOD, just something wrong with me. :lol:

A bug in AEOD?

I have just played the latest version of AEOD. It all works well except for one thing, the Icon of Sin on level 32 wouldn't die. I fired and fired at his brain but he took no damage. Why?

THE ULTIMATE FINAL DOOM PACKAGE!

Final Doom Evilution and Plutonia combined together in one wad! 64 levels of Final Doom mayhem!

Regardless of whether this would be done or not, I am working on a new Final Doom storyline that nicely blends together the storylines of plutonia and tnt.

Well that's where the crosshair comes in, to allow better aiming. And I have played Doom using side view sprites (like Abbs weapon models), without a crosshair and I can still aim anyway. I could even play RTCW, or the new Wolfenstein without a crosshair and I'd be fine, in single player of course ...

While this is not really a project idea but rather a weapon mod.... What about a beast mode which you turn into a werewolf like creature and rip enemies to shreds with your claws (and probably biting too) much like the scrapped idea from Blood? That would be good for Deathmatch. Get a 10 kill ...

No. If you do put weapon reloading into this mod, don't just drop it down, play some sounds then raise it agian. This isn't goldeneye. I hate hidden reloading, it's SO lazy and just looks amature. Another idea. Put weapon reloading into the mod. If making reload animations is too hard, then simply make the gun drop lower upon reloading, and have it raise up again when reloading is complete. Impressive! I look forward to seeing this mod in action. :mrgreen: Word of advice: In the demo you posted of the Geist, there was music from RTCW. Put "ALL" RTCW songs in this mod. Also, notice how the music in RTCW changes at times? Like when the situation becomes more intense? Do that too! :wink:
