Re: Minigunner's Bucket of Hands (among other things)
https://www.mediafire.com/file/ind3x53ps69w7iq/smoothdoomexp_v2.gif Redid my previous smooth explosion, this time with no copy-paste hackery, instead making even more use of the cyberdemon death and applying between-frame morphing to the missing areas (thankfully there wasn't much). Sheet below ...

Re: Guns that make the enemy go splat/boom/sizzle/(sfx here)
Not really. Via the ACS function CheckActorCeilingTexture, you can make sure the airstrike target is outdoors (in a sector that uses F_SKY1 as the ceiling) in order for it to be successful.

Re: That loot box legislation... let's talk about it
Lootboxes for cosmetic items are acceptable, granted there's some oversight over the market. However, lootboxes for critical gameplay items are completely freakin' stupid and consumer-unfriendly. The latter is what got all the shit stirred with EA Battlefront 2.

- Bioweapon grenades/missiles containing potent bacteria that cause mortally infected to rapidly putrefy (expand) and explode, spawning a lingering cloud of said bacteria which can poison others. Basically a nastier version of Duke3D's Expander. - Though partially related to sun plasma, a beam ...

Re: Minigunner's Bucket of Hands (among other things)
It's about damn time. A full year of limbo and I finally revived this thread. I got Mediafire Pro back when Dropbox made its fatal change in March, but given the sheer number of links, I never got around to fixing all of them until now. Needless to say, it's mostly the same, but I added a modified ...

Times have been tough lately, and people in hard times band together to help each other out. Don't feel the need to repay us, your well-being is more than worth it.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
I've never looked inside myself as much as I have the past week. Needless to say, at least thanks to friends both online and IRL, I'm beginning to see a sense of worth in myself that I've always denied for the past 5 years, and have been noticing that I'm generally a good person to have around, not ...

Every single bit of this has driven me to tears, only barely having enough composure to finish it. Thank you, Jimmy, for this tribute. I'm sure Kate would've loved it too.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Trying to make my way back into the community after being largely inactive for a few months. Not quite sure where to start.
Re: Kate Fox
This news left a hole in my heart like no other. I haven't talked to her in over a year, and while she's slowly drifted from my mind, I still cared for her and wished the best. The fact that she finally got to live with her lifelong friend gave me some hope despite this. BouncyTEM, I cannot do or ...

Lemme help you with that. Early stage, merely cut-out and recolored. Also full-size, the finished graphic wasn't sized down until the last minute.potetobloke wrote:

I'd like to see the option to specify a different palette to recolor to in the recolor dialogue, primarily for Doom format graphics. It'd make cross-palette recoloring (primarily for making a paletted graphic look good in another palette) a lot easier.

Nothing. It's that Eriance's weapons are too high-quality for a shitty project like Freedoom.Viscra Maelstrom wrote:what's wrong with Eriance's SSG?
I get the project is improving, but they should use different sprites regardless.
