Re: Doom Runner (yet another graphical Doom launcher)

Today I found out you can copy and paste mods from one list to another. This launcher is the best ever! In the process of testing some stuff while logging more feature requests for DoomRunner on github I found out that you can also paste the mods into a mod bundle which is super useful for rapidly ...

Re: Doom Runner (yet another graphical Doom launcher)

Today I found out you can copy and paste mods from one list to another. This launcher is the best ever! That was one of my requests on github lol, I'm SO glad that got implemented. I have a bunch more good feature requests I'll drop there soon and we'll see what happens. Youda0008 is a total legend ...

Re: Raze not finding files on Linux

I've done that, still, I only get the error message. I also had trouble with getting Raze to work on Linux until just a few minutes ago. Note: I am using an older build: 1.9.1 - the Linux portable one. You could probably get things working by trying some of the following advice on newer builds, I ...

Re: Universal Rain and Snow

I'm busy playing Brutal Doom 64: Veteran Of Hell... and bloody heck the lighting and rain sound is AMAZING! If it's sound licenses allow for copying I'd HIGHLY recommend using the sound and frequency for lighting and rain.

There's some rain and lighting sounds around levels 12 onwards.

Yeah that does not work either, maybe it is some sort or region lock on permissions if that is a thing.

Re: JMod - Mod Testing Suite

This mod is AWESOME ! It has saved me so much time in testing new mods! I now load this as a default on all my mod build presets. It it especially useful if you want to add new mods halfway through a megawad (it breaks saves), you just go to the map and give yourself all the items you had (with ...

Anyone have a working link for this? https://wildweasel.itch.io/cola-3-the-soda-of-style it's in the OP though, in that white rectangle. I checked again and the link does not show up for me, the one you posted also does not work for me in multiple browsers - I've noticed links to itch.io sites not ...

Re: So - yes - some mods broke in 4.14.0.

I wonder if anyone is going to do an exploit hunt to see if anyone has been exploiting this in the wild in all the broken popular mods: Would be interesting to see if anyone hasn't been playing nice.

Geez, that is quite a serious vulnerability! https://github.com/Chainmanner/GZDoom-Arbitrary-Code-Execution-via-ZScript-PoC Can someone confirm if this is actually the vulnerability in question or is there another serious one since the link mentions it being fixed in 4.13.2 Whatever vulnerability it ...

Re: So - yes - some mods broke in 4.14.0.

Thanks for the clarification. I think as long as portable versions for Linux is available this becomes easy to navigate as you can use DoomRunner to have many different versions of gzdoom active and only use the older versions on older mods and wads while using newer stuff on the latest GZDOOM to ...

Re: WAD/zip file name format causes spawn location bug

Add +logfile log.txt Thanks for that, I appreciate the tip. Quick side note: The bug manifesting in the Miasma example is also present in LZDoom so I don't think this is a recent bug - I tried Eviternity II in LZDoom but that does not even load. There is definitely some underlying bug regarding how ...
