Re: Changes In Forum Administration
I heard about this yesterday on Something Awful, along with a link to Marty Kirra's video. I don't post here very often anymore, but I have a lot of memories of this place, and hearing about how the old admins and mods rallied around Marisa and against anyone who tried to blow the whistle on her is ...

[ECWolf]Zugzwang, a limit-removing Wolf3D map
9_wDPQqOnV8 Download now: https://www.dropbox.com/s/gw28oqs1hguv1nh/zugzwang.zip?dl=0 Happy Halloween! I developed this semi-speedmap in three two-hour sessions over the weekend. It's a quite difficult, fast-paced map in which the player has to move quickly and with purpose, or die. The title comes ...

Re: [LZWolf] Wolfenstein Cosmetic Upgrade + Discipline redux
Unfortunately not, because ECWolf and LZWolf currently lack anything like SBARINFO. The best you get is a file called LATCHCFG that lets you move around images and numbers on the status bar, but not alter the size of the status bar, the font, etc.

Re: [LZWolf] Wolfenstein Cosmetic Upgrade + Discipline redux
Wolfenstein Cosmetic Upgrade has gotten a massive update with a new palette, heavily retouched graphics, and LZWolf features. Not only that, but it has a remastered version of my recent collab with Thomas Weiling, Discipline, featuring plane 3 flats and per-tile lighting never before seen in the ...

Who originally made this edit? I've had it for so long I forgot where it came from. I reverse Google Image Searched it but didn't turn up anything.

Dropbox link updated 11/20/21, 1:30 PM to address a couple of issues with E5M5 (ECWolf/SDL only) and E5M6. ModDB fix to come later because the server is still down.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
I remember seeing a sprite sheet for PC Wolf3D styled energy weapons around here, namely a railgun with big red magnet rings and a rocket launcher-like thing that fired blue fireballs. Does anyone know where they are?
Ignore this, they were on Diehard Wolfers, sorry.

Re: [SPRITES] Spriting Carnival!!
Concept Necromancer sprite for my Hexen gameplay mod Hecatomb. A combination of Amuscaria's original cultist and Exeor's edit of it for Cult of Despair. The purple will translate to the palette, as befitting a player sprite.

Re: Hexen: Cult of Despair - A WoC campaign (1.3A Version)
Will the dungeon updates be cosmetic or will they affect layout too? I think you should make your dungeons much more open, push areas against one another and open solid walls with windows, gates, etc. to provide more sightlines, as well as adding verticality.

Re: Hexen: Cult of Despair - A WoC campaign (1.3A Version)
The director spawns ammo, health, and monsters at certain locations (deathmatch starts?) at periodic intervals. I personally don't like using it, it takes a wrecking ball to map balance and sometimes it seems to work so quickly that maps fill up with monsters faster than they can be cleared. And ...

Re: HEXEN: Afterlands - 10 Level Hub
I just played through this (though I missed the secret levels) and this was some mighty fine Hexen mapping, though I didn't like the ice platforming level for being an ice platforming level. Any chance of a Cyrgoth omnibus megawad with the whole trilogy in one game?

Re: [solved] emulate hexen arch melee attacks
It's got everything I need except that its attacks don't respect +PUFFONACTORS like the existing melee attacks, which is a problem e.g. for Timon's Axe.
