I just updated my SLADE version to 3.2.5. The new update broke the application. This is on a Linux machine, running Manjaro. Correction: Manjaro is Linux based. Nobody uses UNIX anymore (except Intel spyware, aka Intel ME). Also, Manjaro likes to mess with system libraries, giving you older versions, which is fine untill you realize AUR packages expect newer libraries. -- END RANT Flag the AUR package as out of date ...

The up-to-date versions available there are for Windows and Mac. For Linux, there's just a link to Flathub where it seems to still be on 3.2.1. Correct, the Flathub is still 3.2.1, and the AUR version is 3.2.3-1. I am running Manjaro, which is UNIX-based, so I am not sure how to get 3.2.4. I did ...

I'm having this exact same issue, and like the OP I noticed that pamac updated from gcc12 to gcc13. This has not only affected GZDoom installation for me, but also SLADE installation. Agreed - it's totally over the top: unrealistic to the point of total distraction. With any luck it's a proof of concept demo and a "sane" version might be possible. Yeah, for the purpose of demonstration it can make sense to exaggerate the effects, but for actual gameplay it should be toned down ...

As of late I've been going back to La-Mulana 1 and 2, as well as the Quake 1 remaster on Steam. Also trying to get all the achievements for Odallus.

I'm loving those textures and flats! If you don't mind my asking, where did you get those assets? The screenshots have a very cool vibe to them. Hopefully in time this project will see a proper release!
