Yeah, I want to get most of the mod finalized before it's ported to GZDoom. I'm just getting sort of concerned because crouching plays an integral role, and I'm still unfamiliar with how Graf handled his implementation. Everything else should go in without a problem, however. And here's the ...

Yup. It's tied into the same system -- once I get everything properly set up for MP, that won't happen anymore.

Anyways:

EDIT: Nuts; I keep forgetting to modify the menu.

Found another bug: (though it seems more of a cheat, then a bug :P) When I crouch, everybody (bots at least, I haven't tried with humans) crouches with me. Everybody get down and boogie. ;) Hah, yeah; right now I've just got the SP rendition of the code in. I still need to move the crouching/melee ...

Taking a pause from college for a moment -- @killingblair: Fixed. No more zombie close combat. :) @TheDarkArchon: Certainly, but I want to get the thing solidified and the source prettied up before I release it. As things are, the code isn't exactly human-readable. Or People Who Aren't Anonone ...

Okay, I think I fixed the flash problem. I'm not sure why it wasn't appearing in the first place, since all I did was recompile the thing and now it works fine. Kind of unsettling.

So, then, time to concentrate on college stuff for a bit.

Bind a key to +movedown. I just realized I forgot to change the menus accordingly.

As for the gun flashes, they were working before I uploaded the latest version -- maybe I broke something and forgot. I'll check and have the fix up tomorrow if that's the case.

You'll run straight up the wall if you're looking right at it and wallrun... thing is, if you melee like mad, you can run the WHOLE WAY up a wall... you can even keep yourself suspended up along the ceiling if you wanted. Yup. I'll no doubt change that up a bit with the next revision, though it's ...

Any chance of Zdoomfu making a GZDoom appearence? More than likely. Porting the mod code over would be as simple as applying a patch, as far as I can tell, but the only conflict would be crouching. (I haven't kept up with Graf's implementation, but from what I saw a while ago he made it much, much ...

Huh. Works fine for me, but something might've got messed up in the transfer. I'll re-upload it. @Enjay: For a while I thought I disappeared. There was a lull in college work, so I was thrown free from its academic clutches. Chances are I'll be disappearing again in a week or two, but hey. :D Edit ...

ZDoomFu Redux (Or: I lost the source code :( )

UPDATE! Nov. 22 Get the latest version here: http://forum.zdoom.org/potato.php?p=188122#188122 ------------- Hey, if anybody remembers me or the crazy kung fu mod I wrote a while back, I started a rewrite. In a bizarre and unfortunate series of events I somehow managed to lose the source code to ...

Welcome to Linux. :) I only got a gripe about libflac++4, which is apparently available in Debian-Woody. (I'm using Ubuntu 5.10, which has libflac++5.) I'll seek that out and give this a run after classes.

You could also manually edit the zdoom-user.ini in your ZDoom folder, where "user" is your username. Look for vid_defwidth and vid_defheight. Also, I think:

zdoom -width 800 -height 600

... on the command prompt will also work.

I was actually just thinking about different player classes for multiplayer, and realized that a medic could be done with a small tweak ... Well, not that small, but hey. It'd be possible in source. I'm curious; what would happen if you created a short-range DECORATE projectile with negative damage?
