I recently turned on Controlled folder access in the Windows security tab, and this leads to the game crashing when trying to take a screenshot via F12. The GZDoom version is g4.14.2. Romero's Heresy exists, but it doesn't run on 64-bit Windows. I guess it's some DOS software, haven't tried it yet. From what I understand from the description, you would need heretic.wad and doom2.wad to create the patch WAD.

Going straight into GZDoom mapping can be a bit overwhelming as it offers a huge amount of features. I would suggest to start with classic Doom mapping first, then switch over to GZDoom mapping once you've sufficiently mastered classic Doom mapping. Your tool of choice would be Ultimate Doom Builder ...

It also has a lot more enemies on Ultra-Violence, so that difficulty is pretty challenging, but thankfully without turning the maps into slaughterhouses.

Huh. No wonder I didn't see that one; that wall really didn't look climbable to me. Thanks for the help. Overall, I have to say that this is a good game, with some rough spots. one thing i disliked tho is how i had to wait for all the lore to finish writing between levels which cannot be skipped or accelerated. :/ I second that, and would like to add that I would like the dialogs/subtitles to stay longer, also during the video sequences, because they currently disappear ...
