Re: Any Thanksgiving themed projects or mods exist?
Enjay, I think that always applies to the NE of Scotland in the Autumn, Winter and Spring... In the Summer it's less cold, a little less rain and almost always light outside. (At least according to my experience for the last 6 years. :P ) Something to be thankful for? Scotland is at least considered ...

Re: The official "ZDoom on Linux" thread.
On Linux based operating systems the "portable" method of installation is unusual. It can be done, but you're going to make your life a lot harder trying. If you are using a debian based distribution you can install ZDoom and GZDoom though a package repository: http://debian.drdteam.org/ How up-to ...

Re: The official "ZDoom on Linux" thread.
To be honest, it's been about that long since I've done any map editing... I also seem to remember using Yadex before. I did a quick check with 'apt-get' in Mint 13 and I can only find deutex and glbsp, which aren't exactly what you're looking for. That really sucks. If I had the time, I might make ...

Re: The official "ZDoom on Linux" thread.
Didn't someone port ZETH or am I misremembering things? I seem to remember (when I used to play around with map editing) using it in a Linux environment.

Re: The official "ZDoom on Linux" thread.
I've just installed Linux Mint 11 (64 bit) and have recompiled ZDoom for it. It's working like a charm.
