Re: Compendium - Classic Megawad Compilation

Oh man, I've wanted something like this for ages now. I've always loved this concept and I'm happy I wasn't the only one that thought about it. Actually, how I found this mod, incidentally was my annual "Hub maps for gzdoom" search on google haha. It'd be cool if there were a way to easily make a ...

Re: Double bind Bug on LZDoom v3.88A for Linux

You need to replicate the bug and likely find when it started, this time i had to confirm it was a GZDoom bug but it was already fixed. Y wenas xD. jajaja wenas xD Yeah man, that bug was giving me issues but I actually managed to switch to the most current gzdoom. Runs decently enough con mi ...

Map Select Menu for iwads and pwads.

I made a small menu to change between maps in-game from the main menu for DOOM IWADs and Heretic. I kept it as simple as I could for convenience (and lack of skill haha). Each wad corresponds to each iwad and there is one for DOOM Complete and one with maps000-200 as well for those map wads with ...

bind g "slot 7"
doublebind g "slot 6"
Both worked as slot 6.
How is it that you troubleshoot bugs and fix them? I've always been curious about that side of things.

Re: Double bind Bug on LZDoom v3.88A for Linux

The Windows drivers for this hardware are hopelessly broken by now, the hardware is simply too old. It is also the weakest GPU around that still runs OpenGL 3.x, so performance wise it won't work that well with more recent GZDooms - in this case LZDoom may still be your best option. Yeah, it's ...

Re: Double bind Bug on LZDoom v3.88A for Linux

Out of interest, what's your graphics hardware? GLES working worse than full GL is a bit odd, though. Sure thing graf here you go: OS: Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS x86_64 Host: Samsung 300E4A/300E5A/300E7A/3430EA/353 (computer model) Kernel: 6.4.6-76060406-generic Shell: bash 5.1.16 Resolution: 1366x768 DE ...

Re: Double bind Bug on LZDoom v3.88A for Linux

What part of "this port has been discontinued" is unclear? Since it is no longer maintained, there won't be any bug fixes. If you need up to date support for older hardware use GZDoom's GLES backend. My issue is that the GLES backend doesn't work for me all that well. What I ended up doing was ...

Re: Double bind Bug on LZDoom v3.88A for Linux

Besides i didn't change anything there. If there was a bug most likely it was in old GZDoom too. @I'mSorry what commands did you write exactly in the console? Try GZDoom 3.3.2 it will run on your hardware. I just wrote the normal bind [key] [command] and doublebind [key] [command] Specifically ...

Re: Double bind Bug on LZDoom v3.88A for Linux

It's not a bug, you need to specify two commands for that key one with bind and one with doublebind. Besides i discontinued the port. doublebind [key] [command] This command works just like bind, except it controls the action that occurs when a key is double-clicked. If a key does not have a ...

Double bind Bug on LZDoom v3.88A for Linux

Doublebind doesn't work like it's supposed to. Double binding to a normally bound key "replaces" the normal bound key.
Distro is: Pop!_OS 22.04 LTS

alias to toggle controller sensitivity?

I want to make an alias that toggles sensitivity but I don't know what the format for writing it would be. You know how in the settings under controller, theirs a slider that modifies sensitivity? I want to be able to modify that with like 1 or 2 buttons. maybe make an alias that toggles between my ...

Any incite as to why my "scripting" bugs out?

I'm really sorry if this isn't exactly the place to ask about this. I'm not sure if what I'm doing is really scripting or not. I have a slight issue with what I wrote but I'm not sure how to fix it. I'm new to anything that has to do with this stuff so I don't know exactly what the problem or ...
