Re: [WIP] Winter's Fury
Where can I play this? Well actually, the mod is not complete yet so Morpheus is right. I have not been able to complete too much work on this project, due to things like Stronghold and Blocks of Doom 2, but I guess I should give an update while I am here. And of course, Screenshots speak better ...

Listen to this smart man, people. This is a fantastic project that needs more love.
After you get the hang of the already simple editor and the easy to understand ACS scripts, you can have fun creating maps for this. I know I do.

Re: [WIP] Winter's Fury

Fixed the fog, and now the maps look a whole lot creepier as the whole thing became alot darker.
Still got some work to do as it still kind of clashes with the sky, but this is a start

Re: [WIP] Winter's Fury
I always loved winter-themed WADS!!!! How come the indoor creatures from the latest shots turn back to normal, though? We need Icy Imps, Frosty Fatsos, Cold Cacos, and Bitter Barons darnnit!!!! I would love to give you an answer, but that would ruin part of the story  Ooh this looks good ...

Good idea Vader! I will try to implement thatVader wrote:The only thing I don't like is the way the white fog clashes with the skybox... I'd make the skybox a white box, with only the top showing some clouds and the rest fading to the color of your fog!

Thanks for the comments so far everyone!

[WIP] Winter's Fury
http://i45.tinypic.com/2e3di7r.png EDIT: Updated this picture to one that looks alot better. Winter's Fury Another one of my various side projects which I shouldn't be working on, but am doing so anyway :P This will be a 8 map mod for GZDoom. The maps have rather fast paced action, with scripted ...

Re: WHAT THE HELL are you working on (WIP THREAD not gossip)
Lighting always looks bland in OpenGL without the use of dynamic lighting. I was debating whether to use Dynamic Lights or Static Lighting, but I prefer to use Static as it has more freedom in creating light in various different shapes. I could add in Dynamic Lighting as well, never really used ...

Re: Enneagon: Deathmatch Edition -- WIP
This looks rather nice Josh, nicely detailed, but some shots look a little dark, and others a little cramped. Of course, I can't really tell what the gameplay would be like from the screenshots, so I hope this turns out good

Re: switching weapons not allowed
It would definetly help us to help you if you put up your weapons code or upload the Wad in question.
You could have various problems with your DECORATE code which are unidentifiable as of now.
