Re: [Stronghold] Release-Party (Expansion Pack Open Dev? p.8

I just want to say to all involved in this, Congratulations! Between real life, and working on my own projects, I hardly get time to even play my own mod :P But reading up on Stronghold, the different games modes & content etc... I'm definitely going to try this out in MP, it looks awesome :!: Good ...

Re: ScoreDoom 2.9Beta Release

Hello. Even though I have quit proper development on ScoreDoom, I decided to create a 2.9 version specifically for new add-on pack content. Its exactly the same pretty much as 2.8r4, except for its newer Add-on Pack support. Therefore it's not online hi score leader board compatible-> use 2.8 for ...

Re: ScoreDoom 2.8v2 Release

1.0.29. Yikes. I guessed as much. That version of GZDoom most likely wouldn't run for me, either. I dont have the very latest ati drivers, but it seems to work fine for me. I also tried wiping the .ini and playing twice. When you wipe the .ini and start the second time, could you please PM me the ...

Re: ScoreDoom 2.8v2 Release

I'm using an nVidia 8400, Driver v196.21. It's all very odd. Fresh INI fixes the graphic issue but it still crashes the second time. Maybe I should feed it a fresh ZDoom INI, run it, then compare the two and see what CVars change. Out of curiosity, what version of GZDoom is it based from? 1.0.29. I ...

Re: ScoreDoom 2.8v2 Release

So a scoring system sounds like fun! But GZScoreDoom is behaving poorly on my system. I don't think it likes my INI. :( For simplicity's sake I copied my ZDoom- User .ini into ScoreDoom's directory (which I gave it all to itself). Running the first time, the colors of all the game fonts are garbled ...

Re: ScoreDoom 2.8v2 Release

ScoreDoomST has been updated to Beta 2. This adds add-on pack support (Boss Rush etc...), and there is a separate SDST-ADDONPACK.WAD. Virtually all monsters from the scoredoom add-on pack, save a few, made it. Some artifacts are missing, but new ones have been added, and other minor changes. More ...

Re: ScoreDoom 2.8v2 Release

Hmm, interesting. I can see why it breaks online hi scoring--there wouldn't be a consistent score to keep up with. So it's a sequence, not a randomization per se. And embedded in the engine? Ha, I love it. Plus with the addon pack being customizable too there's even more replay value, imo. Awesome ...

Re: ScoreDoom 2.8v2 Release

Weapon mods in fact do work. I just ran my homebrewed pack and it works like a charm. I just had to fix decorate nitpickings (e.g. flags that came at later (g)zdoom versions) but other than that, no problems whatsoever. I'll try other packs also, to confirm. I had a couple of questions though: How ...

Re: ScoreDoom 2.8v2 Release

@Bilbo - I'm gonna be rather busy for this week, so I'll be testing the new version when I'm not studying when it comes out. Btw, the final version of Speed of Doom is released in the Doomworld forums. . No problem. I will get around to updating the hi score server, over the next week or so. I'm ...

Re: ScoreDoom 2.8v2 Release

I was wondering how feasible would it be to use weapon mods with this? You mention in your documentation that the weapon might not count towards the score, but how can one make it so? To be honest, weapon mods should be fine with SD, but a couple of rules need to be applied: I believe the issue I ...

Re: ScoreDoom 2.8v2 Release

Re: ScoreDoom 2.8v2 Release

I definatly noticed one thing that needs to be fixed and something else that may be a bug. With the scientists that you kill for the extra points, you said there were ones that give 500 and 1000 points in addition to the 250 points. I have never seen the 500 or 1k points one. I only ever get 250 ...

Re: ScoreDoom 2.8v2 Release

Because so far the later hapens. Is something i can do to fix it? Please excuse my english. Reading the wiki i self answered ...
