What about other than scrapping the idea of trying to create an AI that self-learns to complete Doom Levels, make it an actually Squadmate-esque-like Mass Effect? The reason it has bugs and is hard to work on is because it is a ALPHA release. None the less, great job. Love it so far.

Wad'a'holic decided the mod was too laggy to continue to host (and you'll see why if you try being a commander in multiplayer- depending on ping you may or may not be able to select anything from the menus!) You can check for every port in use by opening a command prompt (cmd.exe) and running the command netstat -a It will produce a list of every open IP connection. Look for a line in the Local Address column like "computername:5029". If you can see one, then that's why ZDoom won't start. You can find ...

Did you by any chance run an instance of ZDoom before? Does it work if you manually try a different port with -port? You make it sound like there is another program using ZDoom's default port. However, this just recently happened when I downloaded the newer SVN version of ZDoom. I will try that out ...
