I'm not as concerned about Hell-themed things. Completely divorced from Eternal's plot, if I gave it the Totem's abilities, it would be another Hell-themed monster.

For new enemy abilities, there's a lot of new attacks and ideas from the new enemies in 2016 and Eternal, but one pet peeve of mine is when some enemies seem to reuse certain attacks or share similar attacks I am probably cutting back on the number of things each individual monster can do, to make ...

Doom's engine doesn't typically work well with really small monsters (having enough trouble with that with the Trite so far, honestly, with the player able to run straight over them with any kind of elevation), so it would probably work better as a flying monster, Lost Soul style.

fast paced gameplay I like fast-paced gameplay, but I didn't enjoy walking through empty rooms, then getting locked in a room as it dumps the same monsters at me until the game tells me I can proceed.
