Re: wepon.pk3: Tiny Filesize, Great Big Guns! [V1.0]
Version 1.1 has been released!
From now on, all changes and further versions will be uploaded to my website, but I'll be sure to bump the thread if a new version releases.
Well, one important enough to warrant it, anyways.

Re: wepon.pk3: Tiny Filesize, Great Big Guns! [V1.0]
wepon v1.0 has finally released!
As always, check the changelog, I made some pretty big changes (which unfortunately include a few nerfs, but such is life).

Re: wepon.pk3: Tiny Filesize, Great Big Guns! [RC3]
Release Canidate 3 is now out, and this time, it will most likely graduate to the big 1.0 release!
Refer to the changelog to see what I changed, 'cause there's some pretty big changes in this one.

Re: wepon.pk3: Tiny Filesize, Great Big Guns! [RC2.1]
A patch for RC2 has been released, mostly that I had to cut back on the shotgun shells you get because let's face it 8 shells is probably a bit much.
Also fixed a few things here and there too.

Don't worry, the plasma rifle's meant to do that.Shatter-Thought[V-4] wrote: ↑Mon Jun 16, 2025 4:01 am The plasma rifle only consumes 1 ammo even as the fire spread triggers.

Re: wepon.pk3: Tiny Filesize, Great Big Guns! [RC2]
Release Candidate 2 is now out! It might be good to be the v1.0 release, but I wanna see if I can get more feedback (and/or bug reports) before I'm ready to do so.

wepon.pk3: Tiny Filesize, Great Big Guns! [V1.2]
GHEUlfSWiwg 5Ovzvi_Led0 (Will require GZDoom 4.14, and most likely 4.15 when it comes out!) Download it here: V1.2 (July 11th, 2025) To put it simply, wepon.pk3 takes the vanilla weaponry, and with the magic of pure ZScript (and a few DECORATE-esque bodges), augments and upgrades them into proper ...

Re: [0.10.0] Gun Bonsai -- everything-compatible weapon upgrading
Ran into an issue with The Adventures of Square, mostly that it crashes the game because of invalid rotation sprites for one of the enemies.

Does anyone actually read the subjects?
I'll break this down in a bite-sized, point-bulleted list that won't include anything from Russian Overkill because then this list would be 5 pages long: Ironblast (Guncaster), because one-shotting Mancubi and turning hordes of lesser monsters into red mist is Quality Fun! Dual Fleshrends ...

Re: Partially discolored or black sky
I've been having this issue as well over at my Fedora 35 partition, opened up a GitHub page for it: https://github.com/coelckers/gzdoom/issues/1593 I've got some screenshots of this bug in action as well, I've also had the sky show up as pitch-black as well, but I didn't get that screenshotted ...

Re: Brutal Doom for the Adventures of Square patch?
Why does Square need to be Brutal? If I had to guess, maybe some people want a bloodier/gorier experience out of TAoS. I wouldn't know why myself, the OG Brutal Doom not being my cup of tea. (I much prefer Project Brutality anyhow, even if it does make my computer hate me sometimes) I might be ...

Re: The Key Catacombs: It Sure is a Heretic Level!
Thanks for playing! I know it's not a masterpiece, probably C+-material at best, but I'll do my best to address your criticisms! - The map is linear which makes balancing easier however there is not enough health and ammo on the map (at least in smitemeister). If you watch my video you see how often ...
