Re: ZDoom is Dead (but the site isn't)
Thank you for everything you have done randi. I firmly believe that Doom wouldn't be as alive and well as it is today without your impact.

Re: Hexen 95 - Most obscure Doom engine source port?
I bought a copy of Hexen from amazon back in 2007 and it came with Hexen95. I'm running on Windows 10 and there were a few minor issues, but for the most part it is amazing compared to Doom95. The installer boots me out for running 64-bit windows but running the Hexen95.exe program in Windows XP SP3 ...

Re: (looking) doom 1 doom 2 final doom all in one wad
I doubt you will find anything because releasing any of the content for the iwads (including the graphics and levels) is illegal and severally frowned upon within the community. If you want to host a server using them on zdoom or zandronum, well you can't because they share the same map name slots ...

Re: CTF Support
Yes there are map packs made for both ZDaemon and Zandronum that have 3 team and 4 team support for CTF. Another thing to be aware of: Zandronum's teams consist of Red, Blue, Green, and Gold. However, ZDaemon uses Red, Blue, Green, and White as their teams. Odamex used to have 3 team support for CTF ...

Re: ZDOOM ported to Amiga 68k
Perhaps you should look into porting Odamex, as it is based on ZDoom 1.22 with features from 1.23 brought it. Also Odamex is built with SDL which is probably more portable than anything that was in ZDoom 1.22

Re: Obligatory Can ZDoom be Ported Thread
Deathz0r got Odamex running on pandora. Since Odamex is quickly reintegrating early ZDoom features, you may want to keep an eye on it.Saya-chan wrote:Can it be ported to the Pandora?

Re: Installing
Hi. Once you have the pk3 and Skulltag installed, use a program called "IdeSE" to see servers. IdeSE is in your Skulltag directory. If you used the installer it is a pink marine that says "Browser Servers" With IdeSE, you can see all online games going on and can use the "Start Server" tab to make ...

OR better yet, go private message an administrator in the Skulltag IRC channel. When one sees your message they can go register you right then.

Re: Client/Server netcode + dedicated server
http://odamex.net/wiki/License GPL Compatibility Origins Odamex is based on csDoom 0.62. This was, in turn, based on ZDoom 1.22). Fly, the author of csDoom, claimed that it was GPL; however, the ZDoom codebase which he used actually contained source code under several conflicting licenses: The Doom ...

The DOOM Weapons ranking in ZDoom?
The Doom weapons ranking went as follows: fist chainsaw pistol shogun SSG chaingun rocket launcher plasma rifle BFG 9000 However in ZDoom the weapons ranking is all messed up. I know the plasma rifle is the highest with SSG being second, but why? Does anyone know why ZDoom changed this from the ...

Skulltag does this. If it finds anything in a second DECORATE lump the same name as the first, it renames the first thing to include a '2' at the end of it.

[2.2.0]Monsters Re-awaken When You Respawn in Coop
When you awaken monsters for the first time in coop, they stop when you die (unless there's another player alive). They are not supposed to move anywhere until you respawn and they hear or see you again. However this is not the case. When you awaken monsters, die, and respawn, they re-awaken upon ...

Re: r721 compiling help - newbie error?
Well I upgraded my gcc-g++ and gcc-core to 4.2.1, and now I got this error popping up. $ make make -C tools/lemon make[1]: Entering directory `/c/programming/zdoomsrc/tools/lemon' make[1]: Nothing to be done for `all'. make[1]: Leaving directory `/c/programming/zdoomsrc/tools/lemon' make -C tools ...
