Lack of Zandronum support is the deal breaker, so I wish Zandronum devs would get the thing on the same line as GZD. They're working on it as evident on the SVN, but it's so slow to get a new release. Honestly? There's already enough Brutal Doom versions that are Zandronum centric. Having one to ...

Re: Spawn: Path to Damnation (v1.0c hotfix) PISTOL FIXED
Spawn is probably your magnum opus, GAA. So simple yet so intricate and it positively reeks of polish and oomph in a healthy excess. Love it.

Played this for just five minutes and I must say, this is one of the most unique mods I've ever played. With the usual wacky quality from Marrub to boot.

Re: Would learning C++ help me understand ZScript better?
Will it help? Certainly. However, C++ has some issues that make it harder for someone who's a complete beginner to learn it. I recommend learning C# instead. Not only is it far easier, it's also far more similar to ZScript, both in syntax and some concepts. C# Fundamentals for Absolute Beginners ...

Would learning C++ help me understand ZScript better?
Hi everyone. I am a literary translator and a Doom enthusiast, hailing from a part of the world where you don't see that many Doomers, let alone modders. Studying games analytically has been a hobby of mine as long as I can remember and I've been wanting to get into modding my favorite game for a ...

Re: NAKU-NARU - バンザイ! (V1.2 OUT NOW!)
Here is your first addon! (If you can call something done in ten minutes top an addon, that is) Despite being an amazing gun to use, Type99 felt a bit lacking in the punchiness department and a bit underwhelming as an SSG replacement. So I cooked up this little thing and decided to share if anyone ...

Re: [Release] The Trailblazer - 1.4c, Slow yourself down
I am using the hud with mugshot, with scrapometer and all. Even after picking some scrap (seeing its pickup message), the meter stays on zero. However, IDFA'ing gives you scrap and fills your meter.

Re: [Release] The Trailblazer - 1.4c, Slow yourself down
Scrap are not being picked up in the latest version of GZDoom. Well, you can pick them up but it doesn't count towards your scrap meter and you can't upgrade your weapons. I just checked to see if I'm having this issue and I was able to upgrade the Cradle & Grave handguns with no issues. Check to ...
