Re: Never Breaking Orbit [version dated 2017-01-02]
Woah, jeez. That way the bullets arc with your movement threw me off. I love it! Reminds me of Tribes Ascend. I got 1366 points after punching everything on the first level. Died twice on the next, trying to attempt that. Another thing I found. For me, atleast. When using the Chainsaw against a wall ...

Re: Hideous Destructor [last update dated November 28, 2016]
like, where they last heard the sound Because of the way monster chasing works in Doom . Alright. Thanks much, Vaecrius, for explaining that. @winter -snip- Well, my thinking is that in the case you don't have a shotgun, but have a few shotgun shells to spare. Or when there are no rocket launchers ...

Re: Hideous Destructor [last update dated November 28, 2016]
1. Taunts will get the enemy's attention, I believe, if you need them to move, so you can get into an ambush position. 2. Need help with generally hairy situations? That's what the squad summoner is for. Alternatively, you could just throw a frag grenade down into said area. 3. Underslung ...

Re: Hideous Destructor [last update dated November 28, 2016]
Just a personal thought onto this, but as far as I know and am concerned, weaponry is absolutely finished. We've got our agile pistol and SMG, our shotguns which often seem to never run out of spare ammo , anti-armor weaponry, all-rounder assault rifles, heavy support Chaingun that acts like an ...

Re: Hideous Destructor [last update dated September 12, 2016
*snip*but, does the hd_penetrate thing go both ways?*snip* NOPE, NOPE NOPE! NOPE! Dear god, nope! All the nope! That'd be fun and all, but... Nope. Rest in peace, sanity. Rest in pieces, as if that is true... all my runs will be going downhill. Hideous Destructor is my mainstay on Doom. That, and ...

Re: [HD] A Simple Replacement Addon
I just realized I wasn't being exact on sights, but wow. Yah got what I meant; The Cased Rifle and Caseless rifles. Seems like they're the only ones you changed. That is really, really nice! The remove of the glow helps a lot. If you do want the glow, all I can think is making the crosshair center a ...

Re: [HD] A Simple Replacement Addon
My personal opinion is that the sights need to be changed up a bit. They're a little thick. Punching shit for some reason sometimes makes the sound of a gun. Otherwise, hey. This is officially on my Hideous Destructor load list. The shotgun, pistol, and rifles sound amazing. The thunder buster--oh ...

Re: Glitchy everything? -- Devbuild g2.2pre-1264-gdce9bf2
Windows 8.1 refuses to even download on this Desktop of mine. An error always comes up and it has to reload and back up.
Alright. As far as I know, I checked three of the 1.x versions and they don't have any issues.
I truly appreciate the help I got.

Re: Glitchy everything? -- Devbuild g2.2pre-1264-gdce9bf2
Sounds about right to me after this whole talk-- that being that the "about" side is what I don't understand. While my desktop runs an AMD A4, my laptop runs an AMD A8.
Yet my desktop runs... faster? Huh. Something feels off about that.
Using the old versions sounds like a plan, honestly.

I went into the device manager and it says the processors are up to date.
And on the topic of weird shit: It's not the first time?

Re: Glitchy everything? -- Devbuild g2.2pre-1264-gdce9bf2
Alright. That does make a little more sense. As far as my driver goes, I don't believe I've had a driver update in a while. Only last year, I think. Thinking about it, could it be I need to update it? Or something else? But as for specific GZDoom versions, it seems to happen with all of the 2.x ...

I can't seem to get the startup log. I see it loading everything, but I'm not sure. Could you explain that?
I've never grabbed the startup log before now.

Re: Glitchy everything? -- Devbuild g2.2pre-1264-gdce9bf2
Out of what I have tried, only the 1.x builds seem to really work. I tried four versions on both sides of 2.x and 1.x builds, and it seems only the 1.x builds work. Even the Zandronum 3.0 beta seems to work, though I suppose that is a different code after all. To me, I find it strange as how I have ...
