well. i tried the latest GZDoom, and it still has the same issue. but i did try QZDoom and that seems to work fine with it. so, i guess i'll just be playing it with that port only

i don't know why but, each time i try & load up this mod. i'm next with a black screen. even when i try to play a level. like i get audio, but no video from the mod when i try to play it

What do you mean by that? For weapons like the pistol you need a magazine to load them up, but you can also load a single round in the chamber in a pitch. so i take it that it's like, find a clip to have more ammo. otherwise you can only use a single round in the weapons. or i guess the pistol or ...

I cannot reproduce your weapon sprite problems. Are you also loading other mods? The hashes that I have included are the only ones that were used in commercial releases... Are you running the mod as an IWAD (in other words, did you put the Wolf3D.ipk3 file and the .SOD, etc. files in the same place ...

is it normal for the message to appear in the build 4 when trying to play it on GZDoom or is there someway to fix it to remove said message at the start of the 1st level?
