Trinity College for Doom 1, made in '94. It has some realistic textures and is modeled after a college in British Cambridge.
EDIT: It's a single level, not a megawad.
For megawads I'd suggest Fragport (maps 1-20).

Re: [REQUEST] Black (PS2) weapon sounds
(ANOTHER BUMP) I got the Parasite Eve 1 and 2 gun sounds if you needed them. Will post them soon. Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
"alien.mid" was also featured in Doom 2 Xtreme, which was apparently released in August of 1996, going by its DeHackEd file. DKC3 came out in fall of 1996, meaning it couldn't possibly be a midi of anything from that game. Hmm. I IDed a ton from Dark 7 (2002): The MOD files for Missions 2, 3, 6 and ...

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
PS1 uses a ton of sound formats. .BIN is for games like Tomorrow Never Dies, The World is Not Enough and WRC Arcade, .CDB is for Galerians (which uses sample-based music) and (maybe) Incredible Crisis. Sound playback is either: 8khz to CD-quality 44khz. Apparently, some games like Hybrid use MIDIs ...

(BUMP ahead)
I'll be doing this in progress (slowly, very very slowly if PSound can rip these).

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
Okay, I'm going to rip a ton of PS1 stuff as of now. By request of someone, I'm going to rip the sounds of Parasite Eve, since PSound is quite useful for such things. Yes, this may include the gun sounds.

Re: The New What Did You Last Do Thread
I'm still trying to beat The World is Not Enough on 007 mode and I have to say: Has someone ripped sounds from that version? I know I already found unused speech, like "007, we've lost all sight of her. Report back to MI6 at once!" which was ment to be in Mission 2.

Re: Gaming clichés?
Mooks that carry the same gun that you have equiped. This is averted with Duke3D, the assault troops drop pistol clips, but they use laser guns.
Tomorrow Never Dies on the PS1 always has the assault rifle in every level.
Also an unlimited ammo starting weapon. Die Hard Trilogy, anyone?

Tight time limits.
I really hate them in games like Driver.
If you arrive late in a car that is in ruins, it's over.

Re: Bad games to avoid...
007: The World is Not Enough (GBC): Sure, the N64 version was great and all, but what about the Gameboy Color version? Right off the bat, a poor representation of the Gunbarrel we all know and love, some 8 bit music that is quite meh, and the sound is just...I dunno. There are some digitized sounds ...

Yeah, but those are in "ironsights mode." I'd love to see it angled.potetobloke wrote:YukesVonFaust made one.Oberron wrote:Has someone made sprites for the M-16 with a M203 grenade launcher attachment? I'm thinking that this gun could be a useful Slot 6 replacement.

Has someone made sprites for the M-16 with a M203 grenade launcher attachment? I'm thinking that this gun could be a useful Slot 6 replacement.
And also an Spectre M4, because it's a rare gun.
Thanks.

Cool picture. Anyway, I was playing a lot of ePSXe (Mainly Gran Turismo) this week.
