Re: [DISCUSSION] The Community Beastiary (no contributions here)

Tormentor, can you update the Incubus on your site with this one; http://www.zshare.net/download/114627870fb4992b/ I noticed the fireball explosion was too small and didn't look right plus I've added a different exp for the missle and toned down the exp damage+radius to make a bit more forgiving ...

Re: [DISCUSSION] The Community Beastiary (no contributions here)

It works now. Thanks. What I would say is that the minicaco are a little big. Plus the fireball size and position needs to be smaller and lower in relation to the the size of the minicaco. Here, have a look at this CacoElemental I made and look at the decorate for the babycaco. You can use it for ...

Re: [DISCUSSION] The Community Beastiary (no contributions here)

The Doom Spawner link doesn't seem to work properly. Does it work for anybody else or is it just me.

Doh, does he. Should've checked first.

BTW, Tormentor, how come you haven't included the Maxibus? I thought that monster was awesome.

Heh. Daniel didn't create any of those monsters did he? If he had a contact address I could have asked him this.

+FLOATBOB

Is there a way to turn off floatbob when a monster dies?

At the moment the death sprite is bobbing up and down.

Also, can you set the frequency of the bob to make it more exaggerated?

Re: Random Weapon Fun

Getting blasted in the face (or the bollocks) with a football is no fun. Mind you, you'd have to change the death animations of the monsters to holding their groin or face, or rolling around on the ground like they'd been shot. Similar to John Obi Mikel did against Peter Crouch this week. Other than ...

There's something else I've only just noticed with all this talk of Graf Zahl's name. Is GZDoom named after Graf Zahl?

Re: Best Megawad Ever?

How about NeoDoom? I've been playing this (so far up to map15). A full 32 maps that has a consistant theme throughout. Top quality megawad.

Also Eternal Doom for sure.

Erm... I don't know what that means?

Just one other thing. I don't know if this has been mentioned before as I haven't read the previous 89 or so pages but the only weapon that crashes GZDoom is the BFG10K. Any ideas? It looks like a cool weapon but the green ball thing crashes :(

OK, noob question:

How do I use the medicine bottles?

I get to an end of a map and I have about 14 of 'em stacked up, then at the start of the next map they go back to zero.
