I don't know if anyone suggested this already. But what about idea to make also custom monsters?.. Keep them same but with re-skins (Or if you want you can make custom AI for them too), so monsters design fit to weapons-sets more. This can be kinda cool.

In our current dev build there is already some features and changes for life quality improvements based on yours feedback, for example we already add possibility to skip cutscene and we get rid of hitscan, now every hitscan weapon and enemy uses fast projectiles ...

This is awesome :D ! Even if there is only one and a half map done you really nailed the atmosphere and the maps are greatly designed as well!
