Honestly I had no idea it didn't work on lava, that breaks a ton of maps... At this point might as well limit the amount you can carry, make it look more rigid and bulky and stuff and just call it a hazardous environment entry suit or something. If you want more realistic/sensible you can have flaming barrels that spill some embers/burning fuel when hit. And toss them all over when actually destroyed. That would maybe work out better.

It might just be a cursor, but it is genuinely pretty nice chunky and pleasant. It's pretty easy to make a little cursor arrow look too sterile by accident. And it certainly fits the menu aesthetics better than the silly rabbit head fits the doom menus.

I kinda think giving the BFG it's own ammo type if anything gives the plasma guns a new lease on life. Because when you have both there's very little point in pulling the plasma gun out anymore in a lot of cases, because the BFG is just far more efficient with cell usage. I mean you can fire 80 ...
