Re: [WolfenDoom] Blade of Agony (new shots page 45)

This brings me to my final thought, a question really. Does anyone know if you can play this in coop with ZDL? The ultimate plan is for this to have full co-op support. It's not quite in place for right now, though; do remember this project is still very much in development. Yeah, Just tested it ...

Re: [WolfenDoom] Blade of Agony (new shots page 45)

I just finished the Town defense mission and decided to share my thoughts up to this point. I've never actually played any wolfendoom levels other than this one so I don't know if this is typical of wolfendoom or not, but I really enjoy the realistic level layouts. They give the impression of being ...

Having some issues with .BAT files

I've been having trouble with the batch files used to make usable pk3s from those github things. I extract the archive to a folder and run the batch file, this outputs a .pk3 file as expected. But when I try to run it in the latest GZdoom, I get this error message. Execution could not continue ...

Re: Doing the impossible. But need extra help.

It's good to have ambition, but 100 levels will take a lot of time and energy to create. Most megawads don't even reach 30 with multiple mappers. As for the monsters, cramming the entire realm 667 bestiary into one WAD will unnecessarily inflate file size and just lead to a whole host of problems ...

Re: ZDoom project ideas you have

I was playing pans weapon mod the other day, I found myself trying to see how far I could get only using the turret gun. So, I was thinking, what about a mod where you can only use turrets? Maybe it could be a sort of deal where you only have so many turrets to complete the level with. I don't know ...

Re: Classic weapons vs. high-tech weapons?

One of the most exotic non energy weapons I've ever come across in a video game was the Mercury Bow from Oni, it work by firing a frozen bolt of mercury at enemies possibly through some sort of compressed air or an explosive charge. It provided a new perspective on kinetic weapons for me.

Re: Classic weapons vs. high-tech weapons?

Rule of cool for me involves bayonets, not enough games have bayonets. I remember using the spiker near exclusively in halo 3 simply because it had a bayonet. But I think part of the appeal of energy weapons is that they can do just about anything, arc casters, plasma beams, lasers that can be ...
