this may sound dumb but are the sprites in png format? AFAIK png's can not use color translation.

ah gotcha :)
Though if i read that right one is in DXF format which is native AutoCad format. DXF can be imported to most modern rendering applications.

hey all, can i get an example of how Checkweapon works please? I no this but it's one of them brain fart days and I can't for the life of we figure it out. what im wanting is a if curweapon is blah do blah else if curweapon is blah2 do blah2 sorry for asking such a dumb question but hey :wink:

btw ace try and start your decorate items around 10000 or so min, this leaves rand and graf room for expantion latter :wink: I personaly start all mine at 22000.

ACS_Execute(Script#, scriptarg1, scriptarg2, scriptarg3, scriptarg4) Wont do what you want it to do unless you have the script saved to the level. The problem is, I tried adding "ACS_Execute(50, 0, 0, 0, 0)" as the paramater and it didn't do anything but displayed the pickup message. which map is it supost to run the script from? if your not using a library then you need to tell it where to look. Actualy yes i will be covering WadAuthor. it's old and outdated but still a good starting editor.

Note: first and only editor i ever used till i found Doom Builder :wink:
