afair the reason for not using the original psxdoom weapon sprites was their crappy quality... nonetheless including these as an option would still be an awesome idea.

thanks a lot for that one, i briefly checked the wad, e.g. warped to some maps to look around. it's really an extraordinary project, thanks a lot :) the last "real-life" wad i played before checking out ND was TVR...

i think dosbox and vanilla doom would run wolfendoom just fine. and afair it isn't interchangeable with wolfenstein TC, new levels and stuff.

city maps

can anyone recommend good (g)zdoom city maps? or even for other ports/vannila doom. recently i played this:

and it seemed rather neat (map03 is the city map), so i'm looking for something like that.

oh come on, KDiZD was fun :) nothing wrong with same thing doom2-wise... but i just don't see anyone making it anytime soon ;) nevertheless i agree that city maps could benefit a lot from gzdoom features

i wanted to ask about the same thing, but since someone already raised this topic... aren't true swinging doors possible in (g)zdoom? a lot of wads (especially ZBlood and alike projects) would feel a lot better if not for these ugly, out-of-place doom-style sliding doors :S also, are polyobjects the ...

imo it's quite pointless, seeing all these duke3d ports already in existence. we'd probably end up with something like ZBlood, that is, cut, "doomed-down" version of a build engine game. edit: there was a collection of a console port exclusive levels called "consoledoom", i think you can get it off ...
