Re: SLADE Discussion - Latest release: v3.1.1.5 (18/Jan/2017

Wow I don't know what's changed but the older version seems to work perfectly. Thanks for the tip! I only really need it for light texture work and graphics, so even if this version is a little buggy I can work with that!

Re: SLADE Discussion - Latest release: v3.1.1.5 (18/Jan/2017

Hello, I'm a new user to Slade and I'm eager to get my hands dirty. I'm using WinXP and a Geforce 7800 GS with updated drivers. My problem is the preview pane does not update, rather it shows a HOM effect as if the program is crashed. I can't seem to find a work around or any other issue. The ...

Re: ZDoom is Dead. Long live ZDoom.

Though I've since moved on to more classic centered ports, zdoom is still a go-to for quick plays or when getting any new players into Doom. I hope you continue to contribute to the forum at least maybe on a ...

Re: Gaming skills.

Mine seem to have peaked 10-12 years ago. Luckily modern games have all been summarily dumbed down to the point where I can still usually cut the hardest difficulty modes. That last Metal Gear: Revengeance game kicked my ass though. Online games? Eh, I'm kinda over it. I'll play a few rounds on ...

I wonder if you'd be interested in giving D2TWID a run on it during testing at some point. ;)

Yeah that'd be really awesome, since I can't be bothered to get my 486 working.
