Various Over-Brighting Issues

Currently using the light value 1024 to achieve an interestingl effect with the pulsing light sector special. (An old vanilla trick apparently.) But I've had some problems...

ZDoom r3333:
  • Overbright, No Pulse: Renders the sector dark (almost black).
  • Overbright, Pulse: Works as expected, other than an odd blink to black. (at the height of the pulse, it seems).
  • Overbright, No Pulse, 3D Water: Water's surface and content are not even rendered. (Untl you're under it.)
  • Overbright, Pulse, 3D Water: Works fine, other than the blink.
I also tested in GZDoom, which has its own issues. (Topic here.)
