Haha that would own! But give it it's own keyword and have it accept all the parameters Slige does. That way you can still name levels Slige if you want, and you can generate more than one map at a time.

i.e.:

Slige -levels 32 -cfg mycfg.cfg -whatever

The only parameter you wouldn't need is the game to make levels for (ZDoom should know which one you're running ^_^).

And now, a poll on what we think Randy's reply to this request will be:

A: Ummmm, no.
B: No.
C: Hell no.
D: Get teh fuck out!

Heh, a port with built-in SLIGE would be interesting. Pulldown console, type "map slige" (therefore "slige" would become a reserved keyword and you couldn't name maps that) and it makes and loads a level for you! :D

To tell the truth, the "Never ask me again" box doesn't remember which IWAD you selected. It just causes the game to load the first IWAD in the list the next time you run it.

omg get slige!

by Nanami » Thu Nov 20, 2003 5:29 am

Yeah, why doesn't it automatically generate levels for you to play? =P

Bug: Zdoom won't play Doom2 when I don't have it installed.

I like it! :)

ROFL!

Heh, this reminds me about the time when My doom2.wad got corrupted and I started all freaking out only to later realize I had another copy of it on my hard drive. :P Heh.

Haha, good one Nami :P I would have suggested that one on IRC but I was sure you'd have checked for it :P

Something tells me this thread will be getting a [Not a bug] tag soon :)

Thanks, that'll help me if I ever need to change the iwad again.

I just realized my Doom2.wad had somehow been deleted from my ZDoom folder, so I feel like an idiot. =)

Don't know about your bug, but to undo the "Never ask me this again" setting, load up ZDoom (and IWAD) and type this at the console:

> queryiwad true

It saves to the ini at exit, so the next time you start ZDoom, it should ask you again.

Wrong Game

I'm not sure if this is a bug or if it's my fault, but my ZDoom keeps autoloading Plutonia instead of Doom2 like I told it to in previous versions.

I looked in my config but no wad files are in there, so a long time ago when I checked "Don't ask me this again" on what wad to load, it turned out permanent?

I renamed Plutonia and it loaded TNT, then I renamed TNT and it loaded Ultimate Doom... so is the autoload not working right? Or did I mess something up?
