Let's tell Doomguy0505 that Zdoom does include a railgun. Zdoom does have some supporting resources. Just start zdoom with zdoom -bex railgun.bex. This makes the plasma rifle function as a railgun.

Unzip the attached file (railgun.bex, zipped) into your zdoom folder.

ZDoom will never include predefined resources. This will remain up to WAD makers.
