Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

How do I get non-terrible performance with hardware rendering? (GZDoom g4.14.1)

I've got an AMD Radeon HD 8350 (Cedar) GPU, which I'm 99% sure is responsible for the bad performance in OpenGL mode (the rest of my hardware is decent quality and up-to-date, I'm not using any parts from before 2018 besides my GPU). The GPU doesn't support Vulkan. I can tell bcuz the whole menu turns bright green when I try to use it in GZDoom g4.14.1, and it seems to use some kinda OpenGL fallback mode in the actual game. I get the best performance in software mode, but I've got to be able to look up and down so that's out of the question. I'm not running any super heavy or detailed maps either, the kinds of maps I'm playing should run just fine. I have my rendering speed set to fast and none of the fancy graphics effects turned on. My graphics settings for hardware accelerated mode are meant to be as close to the software renderer as possible. Is there some way I could run GZDoom with 3D graphics without getting awful performance?
(I would also like to run the game at 320x240 or 640x480 in fullscreen natively, not through some post processing filter)

What CPU do you have? If your processor has an integrated GPU, it's quite possible that it'll be much better than the HD 8350.
