December, 16. 1944.

A Polish man sits behind his desk somewhere in Germany.

He's waiting on a hotel room until the time comes for another phase of the Chess championship being held in town.
That's only one of his purposes.

A thin folder comes under the door, followed by two knocks and fast steps going across the corridor.
He knows what it is, and sighs.

No one needed to be as smart as a Chess player to know that the war raging outside those walls, was about to be over. The Russians did their final moves, leaving every single nazi general in check.

But the folder unveiled a dossier of individuals, as well as photographic proof of a rogue operation led by the Luftwaffe as a last ditch in the war. Hundreds of planes preparing resources to be loaded with chemical agents and launching them across Europe.

So now he has two missions: Stop the operation while its time and escape behind enemy lines alive.

Nice, it feels a lot like a remake of WW's Nazis! mod but in your style. Quick question - why are there no difficulties?

Might be a reference to the OG Nightmare Logic, which pushes you into ultraviolence whether you like it or not. You can bypass this if you load a monster mod with new difficulties, though - DRLA monsters comes to mind.

Excellent as always, i also really like the addition of the FG42 in any mod, so definitely a plus

I was just playing two Nightmare Logic mods and then this pop up as soon as i logged on last night! Give it a shot! Not sure if i want to play like survival horror or slow pace WWII fps from the early 00s.

Also, where to get the custom Kriegsland Textures?

so far so good, only real issue i think is running, it feels a little wonky. It might be because I have running on by default though

I wasn't planning to release them since they're in an incomplete state. But oh, what the hell. Here you go!

Yeah, code is a bit different from NL2, but i hope that doesn't ruin your experience!

Is the Weapon Zoom key even working in every Nightmare Logic mod?

I've tried it, but it wasn't working. Is this a bug of some sort?

Works for weapons with scopes, such as the Kar98k.
There's no bug.

I'm guessing that adding ADS for all weapons would be a ton of work and change the feel of the gameplay?

Not only a ton of work, would require new sprites, more code and would ruin the minimalism of the mod.

Speaking of minimalism, i might release an update today, i'm preparing lots of good things to go with it.

As i promised, the mod is updated! You might have noticed that i also created an "Addons" section to put the first contribution to the mod; ZikShadow has swapped the STEN sprites for a Blyskawica, a Polish SMG used in WW2.

As for the mod itself, you can expect a few cool things such as better animations, more player armor and better shotgun and Kar98k handling. Here's the changelog:
