It seems the mod on your end does not recognize the "Nothin" dummy actor, which is a huge problem. Not sure what could be causing this to happen.DoomThing445 wrote: ↑Thu Oct 02, 2025 8:48 am I ran Colourful Hell 1.04 first, and then CHP4 in GZDoom 4.14.2
Here's the log

I'm an idiot, I used the zip file and not the actual pk3 file, I apologize for the inconvenience

I've been running into similar issues recently. Using both the current GZDoom and UZDoom, when I use the .zip I get the errors above, but when I extract the .pk3 and use it, the game just freezes. No errors, it just hangs. Both engines. With and without using the .wad from the .zip, loading CH 1.04 first. No other mods loading, just those two (though I've tried it with the difficulty selection addon for CH as well, just to see if that was necessary, didn't help.)

Huh, that's strange. The mod should run fine with UZDoom and current GZDoom. And no, the custom difficulty selection addon is not required nor supported. Seems like the load order is right as long as you're just loading CH 1.04 and CH+.Death Mage wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2026 7:15 pm I've been running into similar issues recently. Actually on second thought, the mod does take A LONG time to load, so maybe it'll work if you wait for at least a few minutes.

This is just the engine loading all the assets of CH+. It can take upwards of 5 minutes (needs testing idk) depending on your hardware, since it needs to set up every monster individually, one at a time. With 11 tiers and 11 subtiers per tier, and each being their own monster, that's 121 monsters with their own unique textures and abilities. Combined with this being done for every monster, you're looking at 1600+ monsters it needs to register in total. For me it takes a minute or two, but for mods as big as this it's standard.Everlasting Maya wrote: ↑Mon May 18, 2026 7:40 pmHuh, that's strange.
