Contrary to popular belief, we are not all-knowing-all-seeing magical beings!

If you want help you're going to have to provide lots of info. Like what is your hardware, what is your operating system, what version of GZDoom/LZDoom/whatever you're using, what mods you're loading, how you're loading it, what you've already tried for fixing the problem, and anything else that is even remotely relevant to the problem.

We can't magically figure out what it is if you're going to be vague, and if we feel like you're just wasting our time with guessing games we will act like that's what you're really doing and won't help you.

Here's the Crash Report for your judgement. I am not sure what is causing this error. It is strange since I downloaded GZdoom's newest version today.

Are you using the correct version of ZMusic? - Make sure to extract *all* of the included files from the 4.10 download into the folder you are running from.

If that doesn't work, try running GZDoom from the command line using the command line args +set snd_mididevice -5 to reset the midi device to default.

If that still doesn't work try running it with -nomusic command line arg but note this will disable music entirely.

I ran into this same problem. The new version stored the ini file in your documents (C:\Users\XXXXXX\Documents\My Games\GZDoom) folder and no longer in the gzdoom folder. For me, after I added my wad paths to the ini file in the documents folder I was able to play.
