Heads up, Imgur TOS changes = image rot

There is not enough space on the host for something like this. That is the reason why attachment limits were always kept so low. That being said, I am sure there is no issue with uploading at least the affected images to a second-hand site which is likely to have more than enough room to store all of the images that were previously stored on imgur and pointing the links directly to it.

So what about uploading embedded images directly into the forum or close enough? The point is, somewhere that can be trusted the stuff won't suddenly go out of the window.

I'm supportive of continuing the project. Once we get an idea of how much space is required to prevent image rot, I can look into taking on that hosting cost.

Preliminarily, it looks like 800-900mb for the resources subforum alone.

It looks like Google Cloud would be a reasonable solution perhaps. I already sold my soul to have a lot of integration with them so it'd be reasonably convenient for me to set up a storage bucket as a static website.
